Why should we care about employee well-being?

Our job environment, and hence our lifestyle has massively changed in the last century. We are busy running from meeting to meeting, trying to manage it all, which often means we forget to prioritise our health & well-being. This circle unfortunately often ends in illness or injuries, as our body is asking for some rest or a change.

It is difficult, always making time for our well-being. But I believe that with the right knowledge & simple steps we can all improve our lifestyle, so that we can reduce the number of sick days and improve our productivity.

A few benefits of improved employee well-being:

  • improved focus & productivity

  • improved energy levels

  • boost of creativity and innovation

  • reduced number of sick days

So, how can I help as a fitness coach?

My educational workshops are designed to help employees deepen their knowledge on mindset, stress management, exercise science and nutrition. Based on this knowledge I also guide them through simple and sustainable lifestyle changes that they can implement to improve their well-being.

Some employee feedback

'I loved it. Now I realise that I'm not the only one with a busy calendar and lack of energy or desire to go to the gym after a hard day's work, I need to improve my intrinsic motivation(why).'

'Amazing. It made me wonder about how the act of doing something is better than just thinking about it.'

'Kate was so welcoming and engaging. It was wholesome and felt really good to take some time to think about my health and mindset as I feel I haven't being paying enough attention to this. thank you!'

I truly believe that the first step towards a healthier life is education. My workshops break down the basics of exercise & nutrition into easily digestible, one step at a time sections. I can tailor these workshops as per request, so every employer can find something that works for them. Book a call below to learn more on how I can support your employees' well-being today!
